Sanjay Leela Bhansali corrected Kartik Aaryan’s walking style 10 years back: ‘Tum kyu Sanjay Dutt ki tarah…’

Producer Sandeep Singh reveals that Kartik Aaryan used to walk like Sanjay Dutt and Sanjay Leela Bhansali corrected him.

Actor Kartik Aaryan has been delivering hit after hits and has become quite popular in the Hindi film circuit. However, film producer Sandeep Singh, who calls himself a ‘close friend’ of Kartik, rues that “success has gone to the actor’s head” and he has stopped picking his calls. Sandeep also claimed that he was the one who introduced Kartik to all the big filmmakers in Bollywood, including Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

During a candid chat with Siddharth Kannan, Sandeep, known for producing films such as Mary Kom, Aligarh, Sarbjit and Jhund, said that recently Sanjay Leela Bhansali reminded Kartik of Sandeep being the common friend between the two.

The producer shared how they were best friends during Kartik’s initial days in the film industry but the actor took some of Sandeep’s words to heart and now doesn’t even respond to his messages.

“I know that I reprimanded him. Maybe I scolded him 2-3 times but we also laughed together 100 times. Why did you forget that? And if I scolded you, it was for your better. You must have made some mistakes,” rued Sandeep.

He further added, “A few days back he met Sanjay Leela Bhansali sir and sir reminded him ki ‘you remember Sandeep introduced us’. Sanjay sir ne usko correct bhi kiya tha ki tum kyu Sanjay Dutt ki tarah aise chalte ho. Uss samay kaha tha, aaj se kuch 10 saal pehle. (Sanjay sir also corrected him as to why he walked like Sanjay Dutt. He said this some 10 years back).”

Sandeep, who has produced Main Atal Hoon, starring Pankaj Tripathi, said that Kartik has a strong friend circle only because of his fame and he shouldn’t let it get to his head.

“Yes, I must have scolded him 100 percent but this doesn’t mean that you take things to your heart. Today all the friends you have is because you are a star. Stars shine in the night and disappear in the day. So be a human, not a star,” said the jilted friend.

Meanwhile, on the work front, fans of Kartik are waiting to see him in the next part of the horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The film’s second installment, led by Kartik, was a massive hit.
