Sanjay Dutt’s wife Maanayata calls him her ‘bestest half’ in a heartwarming birthday note, actor shares first look from Double iSmart

Actor Sanjay Dutt surprised his fans on his birthday by releasing his first look from upcoming Puri Jagannadh film Double iSmart. The actor’s character in the movie is called Big Bull. Double iSmart is the sequel of Puri’s blockbuster 2019 film iSmart Shankar. Double iSmart also brings back actor Ram Pothineni in the leading role. Sanjay looks stylish in his first look from the film.

In the poster, he is seen in a new look with studs in his ears and rings on his fingers. The character smokes a cigar nonchalantly as several lasers are aimed at him.

Sanjay wrote in the caption of the post, “It takes me immense pride to be working with the director of the masses #PuriJagannadh ji and the young energetic Ustaad @ramsayz.Glad to be Playing the #BIGBULL in this sci-fi mass entertainer #DoubleISMART Excited to be teaming up with this super-talented team and Looking forward to the film hitting the screens on MARCH 8th, 2024.”

The film’s shoot commenced in Mumbai a few weeks ago. Hollywood cinematographer Gianni Giannelli has come on board for this sci-fi action entertainer. The film is slated to release on March 8 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

Keeping the momentum of Sanjay’s birthday celebrations going, his wife Maanayata posted a beautiful birthday wish for her husband. Uploading a reel with many of their photos, she wrote a heartwarming caption.

Words are not enough to appreciate all the things that you do for me….thank you for being so amazing…thank you for being you…wishing you nothing but the best ever in your life!! Sanjay will also be seen in Tamil film Leo, alongside Vijay. The Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial will reportedly see Sanjay in a negative role. The film, which is scheduled to release on October 19, also stars Trisha Krishnan, Anurag Kashyap, Mysskin and Gowtham Menon.
