Samay Raina deletes all videos of controversial show India’s Got Latent, says ‘only objective was to make people laugh’
Samay Raina shared that he has deleted all the episodes of his show India's Got Latent from YouTube.

Days after a clip from Samay Raina’s YouTube show India’s Got Latent ended up in a massive controversy, comedian Samay Raina has deleted all videos of his show from his YouTube channel. On Wednesday, Samay took to his social media handles and expressed that the ongoing controversy is “too much for me to handle.” He also added that he would be co-operating with the authorities.
He wrote, “Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all India’s Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you.”

Samay’s note comes just a few days after Ranveer Allahbadia’s apology video. The video in question was from the latest episode of the show where Ranveer was invited as a guest judge. The objectionable conversation between Ranveer and the contestant went viral on social media and soon after Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis expressed his disappointment. Following this, multiple FIRs were filed against the celebrities present on the show including Samay Raina, Ranveer Allahbadia Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh and Apoorva Mukhija.
Apart from his US tour, Samay Raina was scheduled to perform in Gujarat. However, all of his shows in Vadodara, Ahmedabad, and Surat on April 17, 18, 19, and 20, have been cancelled with BookMyShow taking down the ticket booking option.
Both Ranveer and Samay have been reportedly summoned by the Mumbai police to know their side of the story.
Previously, Ranveer Allahbadia took to his Instagram handle to share an apology video and said, “I shouldn’t have said what I said on India’s Got Latent. I’m sorry. My comment was not just inappropriate, it was not even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry. Many of you asked if this is how I wished to use my platform and obviously, this is not how I wish to use it. I am not going to give any context or justification or reasoning behind whatever happened. I am just here to apologise. I personally had a lapse in judgement. It was not cool on my part.”
