Following the success of Tiger 3, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has announced his next ambitious project, teaming up with Ghajini and Holiday director AR Murugadoss and Kick producer Sajid Nadiadwala.

Salman took to social media on Tuesday to express his excitement, saying, “Glad to join forces with the exceptionally talented AR Murugadoss and my friend Sajid Nadiadwala for a very exciting film! This collaboration is special, and I look forward to this journey with your love and blessings.” He also revealed that the film is slated for release on the occasion of Eid 2025.

One of the most successful Tamil filmmakers of recent times, AR Murugadoss made his directorial debut with Dheena in 2001, starring Ajith Kumar and Suresh Gopi in the lead roles. The film became a huge success, and he replicated the triumph with the Vijayakanth-starrer Ramanaa in 2002. He further worked with big stars in the south like Suriya in Ghajini (2005) and 7am Arivu (2011), Chiranjeevi in Stalin (2006), Vijay in Thuppakki (2012), Kaththi (2014), and Sarkar (2018), Mahesh Babu in Spyder (2017), and Rajinikanth in Darbar (2020).

Murugadoss made his Bollywood debut in 2008 by remaking his directorial Ghajini, starring Aamir Khan in the lead role, and the film became the first Hindi movie ever to cross the 100 crore mark at the box office. He also made two more movies in Bollywood: the Akshay Kumar-starrer Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty (2014), a remake of his Thuppakki, and Sonakshi Sinha’s Akira (2016).

It may be recalled that Salman Khan’s 2014 socio-political action drama Jai Ho was a remake of Murugadoss’ Stalin, though the filmmaker was not directly associated with it.

Salman Khan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala have delivered blockbuster films like Judwaa, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, and Kick, just to name a few.
