Actor Salman Khan said that he has been fortunate to work with good people in his career, but there have been times when he has encountered people he doesn’t like. In an interview, the actor revealed the one rule that he follows in such situations, and also spoke about how he addresses the matter if his rule doesn’t work.

While chatting with Rajat Sharma on Aap Ki Adalat, Salman expressed gratitude about the people he has collaborated with over the years. But, he said, he believes in backing out of projects if they also involve people he doesn’t get along with. Salman said that if the project is too special to back out of, he believes in sorting out interpersonal matters first.

He said, “I’ve been fortunate that I’ve worked with great guys, great producers, great directors, so many artistes, heroes, heroines… I’ve gotten along with most of them. The few I haven’t gotten along with, I’ve avoided working with them. But I’ve always believed in one thing, if you have a great script, and you don’t get along with that person, whoever is going to be with you, you cannot throw that person out. You back out yourself.”

Salman continued, “Never take somebody’s rozi roti away. You back out yourself. But if you like the project so much that you don’t want to back out of it, then you make sure that everything is okay between you guys.”

The actor made a similar statement in a previous appearance on Aap Ki Adalat, when he alleged that John Abraham got Katrina Kaif replaced on a project, but when Katrina got the upper hand several years later, he advised her not to have John replaced on a project that they were supposed to work on together. Despite this, Salman has long been bogged by allegations about arm-twisting producers to not hire certain people. Vivek Oberoi had a feud with Salman that remains unresolved to this day, as does singer Arijit Singh, who wrote in a Facebook post once that Salman felt insulted by something he did and refused to accept his apologies.
