Tiger is coming. Superstar Salman Khan on Wednesday shared a new poster for his upcoming actioner, Tiger 3, and asked his fans to be “ready” ahead of the film’s grand trailer reveal next week. The third installment of the blockbuster Tiger franchise, the film will see Salman return as the fan-favourite titular spy. The new poster shows him holding a gun, partially kneeling down and looking straight into the camera with a smirk, as cops stand behind him.

“Tiger aa raha hai. 16th October. #Tiger3Trailer Ready ho jao! 🔥 #5DaysToTiger3Trailer,” Salman captioned the post. Tiger 3’s trailer will be unveiled on October 16, weeks after the makers dropped their first teaser.

Tiger 3 will be released in cinemas this Diwali, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The film also stars Katrina Kaif and will be directed by Maneesh Sharma, known for movies such as Band Baajaa Baarat and Shah Rukh Khan’s Fan.

Tiger 3 is part of Yah Raj Film’s Spy Universe, which also includes movies such as Hrithik Roshan’s War and the SRK blockbuster Pathaan. Much like Pathaan, which released to record-breaking response earlier this year, Tiger 3 will also see the reunion of Salman and Shah Rukh on the big screen. The movie will set up another film, tentatively titled Tiger vs Pathaan.
