Superstar Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer film Sultan will release on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 — says a tweet from the film’s director, much to the elation of fans.

Director Ali Abbas Zafar took to Twitter to confirm the release date of the film which is scheduled to open on Eid.

“Sultan will release on 6th July 2016,” Ali Abbas tweeted.
