Sajid Khan says wasn’t replaced but had rejected Housefull 3, read his tweets

Sajid Khan clarified on Twitter that he was never replaced for 'Housefull 3' but 'he had himself rejected the movie and that he regrets the decision.'

In a series of tweets, Sajid Khan wrote that he was never replaced but he had himself rejected ‘Housefull 3’ and that he regrets the decision.

Sajid Khan, who has directed the first two installments of the hit Housefull series, will not direct the third installment. There were reports that Sajid was replaced by film’s producer Sajid Nadiadwala. But Sajid clarified on Twitter that he was never replaced but ‘he had himself rejected ‘Housefull 3′ and that he regrets the decision.’

Housefull 3 is now being be directed by Sajid-Farhad and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

In a series of tweets, Sajid Khan wrote:

Sajid Khan, who is currently judging reality TV show ‘India’s Best Dramebaaz’ with Sonali Bendre and Vivek Oberoi, said he regrets leaving Housefull 3.

Sajid also wished luck to Akshay, Riteish and Abhishek Bachchan for the movie and hoped that it breaks all records.

Housefull was released in 2010 and Housefull 2 in 2012. Akshay and Riteish have been parts of both films. The two were joined by Abhishek Bachchan for its third installment.

The film’s shoot is underway in London and it is going to release in June this year.
