VIDEO: Salman Khan wants you to watch Akshay Kumar’s Rustom
Salman Khan has supported Akshay Kumar's Rustom and even shared a video asking people to go watch the movie. And he does it in a style only Sultan can.

Bollywood’s one and only Khiladi Akshay Kumar will be back in action on the big screen with his latest flick Rustom, which is releasing three days prior to the Independence Day on August 12. And his good friend Sultan Salman Khan is keenly waiting to watch the movie and has also urged his fans to go and watch the movie in theatres. Rustom is largely inspired by the famous 1959 case of KM Nanavati v. State of Maharashtra that changed the face of the Indian judicial system.
Salman, who has worked with Akshay in Jaan-E-Mann and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, shared a video on Twitter announcing the release date of Rustom and asking people to watch the movie in theatres. He says, “Humare film industry ke Rustom hind ki film aa rahi hai. Naam hai Rustom. 12 August ko jaake dekhiye Akshay Kumar ki film Rustom.”
After giving a taste of patriotism to the audiences at the start of the year with Airlift, actor Akshay Kumar will be seen donning Navy uniform in Rustom where he plays Commander Rustom Pavri. Along with Akshay, the film also stars Ileana D’Cruz in the lead who plays his love interest. It also stars Esha Gupta and Arjan Bajwa in important roles.
The film brings back the jodi of Akshay and director Neeraj Pandey, who is producing the film after much acclaimed Baby in 2015. Directed by debutant Tinu Suresh Desai, Rustom will release on August 12.
