Filmmaker Karan Johar has unveiled the teaser of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani‘s second song “What Jhumka”. The Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh starrer has piqued the interest of movie buffs ever since the release of its trailer and first song ‘Tum Kya Mile”.

“What Jhumka” is an extravagant number and is picturised on the film’s lead pair, Alia and Ranveer, who play Rani and Rocky respectively. The song has been crooned by Jonita Gandhi and Arijit Singh, and the music is composed by Pritam. Going by the teaser, the song looks like a perfect party number, but if it has a hook line similar to Asha Bhosle’s classic song “Jhumka Gira Re”, would be known on Wednesday when the song releases.

Sharing the teaser of the song, Karan Johar wrote, “Can’t wait for the ‘Jhumka’ to drop and get you all grooving!😉#WhatJhumka, song out TOMORROW!!!!!!.” As the filmmaker shared the teaser, a few Instagram users remarked that the new song is similar to Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s “Thumka” track from Luv Ranjan’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. A comment read, “Why is this so similar to Ranbir’s Thumka 🙄?”

However, many expressed excitement for the song “What Jhumka”. A fan wrote, “Omg another bollywood song to get stuck in my head and dance to at 2 am i am so ready.” Another added, “The song looks dope🔥.” A comment also read, I CANNOT WAIT TO DANCE ON THIS!.”

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani also stars Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan. The film hit theatres on July 28.
