Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are one of those Bollywood couples who like to give each other feedback on their performances but when it comes to Mirzapur, which is Ali's most popular web series in India, Richa recently admitted that she isn't the biggest fan of the show. In fact, Richa shared that she likes to forward the show and skip to Ali's scenes and so that's the only bit of the show that she has watched. Richa, in a chat with Jist, said that the show is "too violent" for her. Sharing how Mirazpur does not suit her sensibilities as a viewer, she said, "Mirzapur is very violent for me. Main keval Ali ke scenes dekhti hun, wo bhi isiliye kyunki hum ek doosre se kaam ko feedback ki tarah discuss karte hai to main forward karti hun. Aur usme bhi kab violence aata hai to main unko sunati hun ki 'tumne iske mooh mein blow dryer kyun daala'. To maine pehla shot dekha tha to usme ungli ka kuch tha to maine pehle hi bol diya tha ki bhai screening to nahi ho payegi. "Wo bohot bulk up hue the uske liye, kaafi mehnat unhone ki thi, weight lifting, wo hi jo body builder ki diet hoti hai. Chayan mein gaali galoch ka koi wo nahi tha.. Ali to Ali hai, Lucknow se hai, to unko Urdu ki bhi samajh hai, bahar jaate hai to British english bol dete hai, pata nahi kaise. (He bulked up a lot. He worked really hard, did weight lifting, had the diet of bodybuilders. The foul language had no part in him selecting the role. Ali is Ali.he is from Lucknow so he understands Urdu. When he goes abroad, he also speaks British English, I don't know how.)" Ali will soon be seen in the third season on Mirzapur but to do that, he had to skip the third part of Fukrey as the dates of these two projects were clashing with each other. The actor had issued a statement to inform fans about it. He said, "Sorry saathiyon, iss baari nahi (Sorry guys, not this time).” He explained that “Zafar ko kabhi kabhi Guddu bhaiya banna padta hai. Aur do universes overlap ho jaate hain kabhi kabhi (Sometimes Zafar has to play Guddu bhaiya and sometimes, both universes overlap)"
