Raveena Tandon refuses to answer question regarding Akshay Kumar’s infidelity, says she never discussed past relationships with husband Anil Thadani

Raveena Tandon has been a part of the movies since the early 1990s and has seen all kinds of ups and downs in her craeer of over three decades. Back in the day, Raveena’s relationship with actor Akshay Kumar was frequently discussed in film magazines. Both the actors have since moved on from the subject and don’t share any visible discomfort with each other.

In a recent interview with Lehren Retro, when Raveena revealed that she was a part of Welcome to the Jungle, which also stars Akshay, the interviewer reacted with shock. To this, Raveena reacted calmly, “I think I signed Welcome.” Akshay and Raveena shared the stage at a recent event where they were cordial with each other. In the same interview, when she was asked if she and husband Anil Thadani ever discussed their past relationships with each other, Raveena said that even though they didn’t know each other personally, they “knew of each other” so they “never discussed anything”.

“He prefers not to discuss things that are probably very personal to him and his past and I didn’t want to poke, and neither do I (prefer to discuss),” she said when speaking about their past relationships. Anil had gone through a divorce before he met Raveena. She too had been engaged to Akshay in the late 1990s.

Raveena Tandon opened up about her love story with husband Anil Thadani and shared that she had first spotted him at a Valentine’s Day party but they started dating each other two years after that. “We met and we started talking on August 4, 2003, and by February 2004, we were married,” she shared. Raveena said that she wasn’t aware of the fact that Anil had actually distributed her debut film Patthar Ke Phool but their first meeting happened when she was making a movie called Stumped, and the two met for work.

Raveena was asked about “infidelity” in relationships as she has hinted towards that as the reason for her and Akshay’s break up but the actor chose to remain poised and said, “I would rather not discuss that.” But when asked if infidelity was still a deal breaker for her, Raveena shared, “Every relationship, according to me, is based on faith, love, honesty and trust.” She added that not just romantic relationships, this rule applies to all kinds of relationships that one has in life.

Raveena was last seen in 2022’s K.G.F: Chapter 2.
