Most celebrities in India, be they cricketers, TV stars, or actors, just feel better getting married away from the public eye. Another couple has joined this list, as TV actors Krish Pathak and Sara Khan tied the knot on October 6, away from the cameras and flashes, during an intimate court ceremony. The couple had been dating for a year prior to taking this step and will be celebrating this new phase of their lives in December.

Krish, known for his role in shows like P.O.W.: Bandhi Yuddh Ke and Yeh Jhuki Jhuki Si Nazar, is also the son of actor Sunil Lahiri, who is known for playing Lakshman in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan. The couple announced their union through a joint Instagram post. They also shared photos including a photo where they are signing their marriage papers. The couple married under Special Marriage Act.

The caption read, “Sealed Together. Two faiths. One script. Infinite love. The signatures are sealed. ‘Qubool Hai’ to ‘Saat Phere’, the vows await this December. Two hearts, two cultures, one forever. Our love story is crafting a union where faiths blend, not divide. Because when love is the headline, everything else becomes a beautiful subplot. So give us your blessing, as this union is for all.”

According to an interview given to TOI, Sara felt like Krish’s wife the moment they started living together, but she was still very excited while registering their marriage. She stated that her husband is everything she wants in a partner and that their connection feels like it transcends just one lifetime. They reportedly met on a dating app, and they claimed that their love story was very modern and fit for the term ‘Gen-Z’. Krish added and admitted that due to the fact that his mother raised him on her own, he was never up for the idea of marriage, while Sara was the complete opposite and wanted the kind of bond her parents had for herself.

As mentioned in the Instagram post as well, the couple shared that they would be celebrating their wedding on December 5. Krish assured his fans that even though the court ceremony was intimate, they are going to pull out all the stops during the celebration at the end of the year.

While Krish only has a few projects under his belt, Sara has a slightly more expansive resume to boast. She is known for her roles in shows like Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai, Ram Milaayi Jodi, several music videos, and TV series.
