Telugu superstar Ram Charan visited the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai on Wednesday, October 4. The actor flew down to the city on Tuesday, ahead of his upcoming film RC 16, directed by Jersey director Gowtam Tinnanuri.

Videos of Charan’s temple visit have surfaced on several social media platforms. The actor was accompanied by Shiv Sena’s Rahul Kanal. Watch:

The actor was dressed in a black outfit and was seen walking barefoot on the street, towards the temple. He also waved and greeted the photographers, stationed outside the temple to click his pictures, with a namaste. In a video shared by news agency ANI, Ram Charan is seen folding his hands as he prays to the Ganpati idol, and the temple priest can be seen putting a tikka on the actor’s forehead and presenting him with a blue shawl and prasad in return.

Ram is on a career high after having starred in the smash hit RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli, along with Jr NTR. He also attended the Golden Globes and the Oscars this year, as the song “Naatu Naatu” won the Best Original Song award.

On the personal front, Ram and his wife Upasana embraced parenthood after the birth of their daughter Klin Kara in June. The actor, along with his family, recently celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi at their home in Hyderabad. Before visiting the Siddhivinayak temple this morning, he had also taken on a 41-day long Ayyappa Deeksha (Vratham), which is done on a yearly basis in Sabarimala, Kerala. He started this practice in 2008 and follows the ritual every year.

On the work front, after RC16, Ram will be seen in S Shankar’s Game Changer and Merupu.
