Actor Sushmita Sen’s brother, Rajeev Sen who often stays in headlines for his personal life, has once again come in the limelight for his long note to his haters. In his recent vlog, Rajeev addressed the trolls who criticise him for living off his sister’s money. Expressing gratefulness for his privileges, Rajeev clarified that he need not be a superstar to have a luxurious life. He said, he is a successful businessman and has earned a lot of money for himself.

He shared, “I have had a successful jewellery business for a long time. Yes, I am fortunate that a lot of it was given to me because it was my company, it was my parents’ company. A lot of it was handed to me on a plate, but even in that scenario, I had to prove myself–that I can sell jewellery. Acting or production, YouTube just happened recently. This is just a passion project that I can afford to give time to because I have other ventures. I am a successful investor. I have earned a lot of money on my own and I am very proud of that fact.”

Rajeev also addressed questions around him living with his mother. He said, “If my mother ever asked me to leave the house, I would do so and be on the street.”

At the end, he slammed his critics and said, “Just assume for a moment that I am living a luxurious life, that my mum is signing cheques for me every month, my dad is giving me money, my sister is giving me cheques and telling me to enjoy life–even if that’s true, what is your problem? You people don’t even have the worth of Rs 10.”

He also addressed the questions about him not providing financial help to his ex-wife and daughter Ziana. “It is my personal life. I am Rajeev Sen and I don’t think I need to clarify all this to anybody.”

Rajeev Sen was married to television actress Charu Asopa. The couple are parents to a daughter Zianda. They, however, divorced each other in 2023 and now live separately. Their relationship often made headlines.
