Radhika Apte thrilled to share screen space with Soumitra Chatterjee for ‘Ahalya’

Radhika Apte was thrilled to work with celebrated actor, Soumitra Chatterjee and learn from him.

‘Badlapur’ actress Radhika Apte, who is gearing up for the release of her film ‘Manjhi: The Mountain Man’, recently shot for Sujoy Ghosh’s short film, ‘Ahalya’.

In the film, Radhika Apte is seen sharing screen space with veteran actor Soumitra Chatterjee. Apte was thrilled to work with the celebrated actor and learn from him.

“I have been a huge fan of his work from the time I saw him in Satyajit Ray’s films who I am a big fan of too. He may be very senior but he has this childlike enthusiasm in him which is very rare. Even new people today do not have this kind of enthusiam towards their work. I used to keep watching him on sets while he would do every scene so effortlessly. There is a lot I have learnt from him.,” said Radhika.

The short 20-minute film also stars Tota Roy Choudhury.
