Priyanka Chopra ‘will be on theme’ at Met Gala 2023, confirms Variety

Priyanka Chopra, who is looking forward to the release of her Amazon Prime Video series Citadel, will attend the prestigious Met Gala in New York. The 2023 Met Gala will be held on May 1 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Variety journalist Marc Malkin recently confirmed Priyanka’s appearance at the Met Gala and shared in a tweet, “Confirmed! @priyankachopra just told me she will be at the #MetGala on Monday. Says her look ‘will be on theme’ because she loves a theme but it will also have a ‘special element’. #JustforVariety” The theme of this year’s Met Gala is Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.

Priyanka Chopra first attended the Met Gala with Nick Jonas in 2017. Since then, the global star has walked the red carpet of the prestigious event twice. In 2019, Priyanka and Nick served as co-chairs at the event.

Priyanka was recently in India for the promotions of her web series Citadel. The show also stars Game of Thrones actor Richard Madden. Apart from Citadel, the actor will soon be seen in the Hollywood romantic comedy Love Again. She is also supposed to star in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee le Zara, which will see her share screen space with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
