Priyanka Chopra and Mary Kom woo Delhiites
Priyanka Chopra,Mary Kom and actor Darshan Kumar launched the Mary Kom inspired doll at an event in New Delhi.

National Award wining actress Priyanka Chopra, Olympics medalist Mary Kom and actor Darshan Kumar launched the Mary Kom inspired doll at an event in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Priyanka, who plays Mary Kom in the biopic, looked glamorous in a black and golden attire with bindi.
Talking about the experience of acting in the film ‘Mary Kom’, Priyanka Chopra said: “I feel much stronger now.”
“For me, it was a huge challenge to learn an entire sport. Today, you can put me in a boxing ring. I may not be able to beat another boxer, but I’ll be able to give her a tough fight. I’ve learnt it that much,” said Priyanka for whom the real hero of the film is MC Mary Kom.
Priyanka also believes that women must learn some form of self-defence as it helps greatly.
The event also had ‘magnificent Mary Kom’, who will be representing India in Asian Games after mothering three children, revealed Priyanka Chopra.

Inspite making a very short and quick appearance after a two hours delay at the event, Priyanka cheered the crowd and was welcomed with huge round of applause.
But author Suhel Seth, who was also present at the event was upset and said that Priyanka made her fans and everyone else wait for 2 hours and did not bother to apologise.

He further tweeted that Priyanka being a star has the right to be ill-mannered.

‘Mary Kom’, directed by first-timer Omung Kumar, releases on Teacher’s Day Friday.
