The Sooraj Barjatya film, which is being made under the Rajshri Productions banner, is about a simple man Prem Dilwala (Salman Khan), who is a stage performer and enacts plays based on Lord Ram in Ayodhya. Whatever money he makes through his work is donated to a charitable fund run by princess Maithili (Sonam Kapoor). Prem who is moved by the simplicity of the Princess who leads a normal life and helps people. Prem decides to meet him and express his respect towards her. This is followed by love, drama, relationships and a lot more.
