Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD tops IMDb’s 2024 List of Most Popular Indian Movies; Laapataa Ladies and Stree 2 follow

1. Kalki 2898 AD
Topping the list is Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan. Directed by Nag Ashwin, this sci-fi epic became the highest-grossing film of the year, setting a new box office benchmark.

2. Stree 2
Amar Kaushik’s horror-comedy sequel, Stree 2, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, smashed box office records. Although recently dethroned by Pushpa 2 as the second highest-grosser of 2024, the film remains a fan favourite.
