IMDb has unveiled its list of the Top 10 Most Popular Indian Movies of 2024, featuring seven Hindi titles alongside one each from Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam cinema.

Most Popular Indian Movies of 2024:
1. Kalki 2898 AD
Topping the list is Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan. Directed by Nag Ashwin, this sci-fi epic became the highest-grossing film of the year, setting a new box office benchmark.
2. Stree 2
Amar Kaushik’s horror-comedy sequel, Stree 2, starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, smashed box office records. Although recently dethroned by Pushpa 2 as the second highest-grosser of 2024, the film remains a fan favourite. The stellar supporting cast includes Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee and Pankaj Tripathi.
3. Maharaja
Vijay Sethupathi’s Maharaja emerged as one of the year’s most critically acclaimed films. Directed by Nithilan Saminathan, the Tamil drama featured an ensemble cast, including Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas, and Natarajan Subramaniam.
4. Shaitaan
Starring Ajay Devgn, R. Madhavan, and Jyothika, Shaitaan explores a family’s descent into chaos after their daughter becomes a victim of black magic. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the supernatural thriller captivated audiences with its gripping plot.
5. Fighter
