This isn’t the first time police have had to take strict measures against crowds gathered outside Salman Khan’s residence. In 2022, similar tactics were employed to control hundreds of fans gathered outside Salman’s home to catch a glimpse of the star on his birthday.
For years, Salman has adhered to the tradition of releasing a movie on Eid, dating back to 1997 when Judwaa was released. However, this year, the actor broke tradition by not releasing a film on the festival. Instead, he announced his next venture, Sikander, which will be released on Eid next year.
Announcing the film on social media, he wrote, “Iss Eid Bade Miyan Chote Miyan aur Maidaan ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar Milo (Watch Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan on this Eid, next Eid, meet Sikandar). Wish u all Eid Mubarak!”
