Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa announced their pregnancy in July and in a recent interview, Patralekhaa opened up about her pregnancy journey where she shared that she had frozen her eggs around three years ago. Patralekhaa shared that she found that getting pregnant was easier than going through the egg freezing process and said that her doctor had not prepared her for the toll that the egg freezing process could take on her.

Talking to Soha Ali Khan on her YouTube channel, Patralekhaa revealed, “I had also frozen my eggs about three years back and now that I am pregnant, I feel pregnancy was way easier than freezing the eggs. My doctor didn’t tell me how difficult it was going to be.” She shared that she put on some weight and added, “Also the blues that I had, once my egg freezing was done. So between the two, I would always recommend that the young girls should just get pregnant. It’s just easier than going through that whole process.”

In the same chat, Patralekhaa revealed that she did not use her eggs and conceived naturally. She shared that she did not know that she was pregnant as the pregnancy test kit showed her a negative result, and she found out about her pregnancy once she visited her gynecologist for a consultation. And once she found out, the couple wanted to keep it a secret for the first three months.
