Actors Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi recently took a trip to Pune along with both their sons and daughter-in-law to-be Yogita Bihani. The gang hit many renowned eating joints across the city and shared several interesting anecdotes along the way. Parmeet continued to express his love for ‘dad jokes’, which led him to tell a story from the early days of his relationship with Archana, when he beat up a man who was hitting on Archana in a bar.

While perusing through the menus of different eateries in Pune, the group found itself in Budhwar Peth with plans of enjoying a plate of Misal with bread instead of Pav. This is where Parmeet cracked a joke about a sober man fighting drunk men in a bar. Aaryamann was quick to ask, “Dad, how do you know that fights generally occur in bars?” Parmeet smirked and replied, “Beta, ek toh maine teri maa ke liye ki thi. (Son, one of those fights I fought for your mother.)”

Archana confirmed that this actually happened when they were visiting Africa back when they had just started dating. Parmeet continued the story and said, “Koi ek aadmi tang kar raha tha mummy ko (Some guy was bothering your mother), and I am talking about when we had just started dating. The best part is… Most women stop their partners from fighting, but she kept telling me, ‘Hit him more.'” Archana hid her face with embarrassment as everybody else laughed at the story.

All of them also visited German bakery in the city where they tried chocolate eclairs, lemon tarts, bun-maska, and spinach omelettes. They also visited the famous Ferguson College Road to have some South Indian food and sang praises about the food and quality of service they got.

In less than a year’s time, Archana’s channel has amassed a huge following. The channel currently has over 990k subscribers.
