Parineeti Chopra says she ‘gained a bigger family’ after engagement with Raghav Chadha: ‘We both come from different worlds’

Parineeti began, “Raghav and I are overwhelmed with the love and abundance of positivity we have received over the past few weeks, particularly on our engagement. We both come from different worlds, and it is amazing to know that our worlds also unite with our union. We have gained a bigger family than we could have ever imagined.”

Stating that she is touched by everyone’s kind words, the actor added, “We are so touched by everything we have read/seen and we cannot thank you all enough. We embark on this journey knowing that you all are standing with us. A special shout-out to our amazing friends in the media. Thank you for being there through the day and cheering for us.”

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha apparently were friendly before they started dating, according to reports. The two had studied around the same time in London together. The duo reportedly reconnected when Parineeti was in Punjab to shoot for an upcoming film with Diljit Dosanjh, called Chamkila. Since the past couple of months, the pair has been spotted watching IPL matches, and dining together in Mumbai. They had kept mum about their relationship until they finally came out and posed for the media after their ring ceremony this past Saturday.

On the work front, Parineeti was last seen in the Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Uunchai.
