Parineeti Chopra reveals she bonded with Amar Singh Chamkila co-star Diljit Dosanjh over spirituality, says he is a very quiet person off camera

During a podcast, Parineeti Chopra opened up about her Amar Singh Chamkila co-star Diljit Dosanjh and how they bonded over some common traits.

Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra’s latest film Amar Singh Chamkila received great reviews. While the actors continue to bask in the film’s success, recently Parineeti Chopra spoke about bonding with co-star Diljit during the shooting of the movie.

In an interview with Raj Shamani, Parineeti shared how Chamkila had many like-minded people coming together. Parineeti also shared how she bonded with Diljit over spirituality.

Talking about Diljit Dosanjh, Parineeti Chopra said, “I bonded with Diljit Dosanjh on grounds of spirituality. He is very quiet off camera and tends to think a lot, that is a similar trait we share.” She further praised Diljit and shared why he is loved by the audience. “This phase of Diljit Dosanjh winning hearts shouldn’t change, he is a vibe. One day we were sitting and talking about how he has now figured out who he is and what the audience wants. His music, film, wardrobe choices and everything in his life are a reflection of that understanding.”

Both Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra have received immense praise for their performance in Amar Singh Chamkila. Parineeti also spoke about the success of Chamkila and said, “I have chased commerce and projects for the wrong reason, I have listened to the wrong advice, signed the wrong films against what the audience wanted of me. I have done a lot of films that didn’t suit me because I was listening to a lot of noise. I have gone through a lot of ups and downs and made a lot of mistakes, but the intentions have been very simple and pure.”

On the work front, Diljit will be next seen in Jatt and Juliet 3.
