Actor Parineeti Chopra married politician Raghav Chadha in Udaipur, Rajasthan on September 24. On Thursday, she shared a fresh set of pictures from her haldi ceremony.

Parineeti decided not to wear the regular yellow-coloured outfit for her haldi ceremony and instead opted for a pink one. Raghav wore a traditional white kurta pyjama and completed his look with a pair of sunglasses.

Parineeti posted the pictures on her Instagram stories, much to the delight of her fans.

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s intimate wedding ceremony was attended by family members and close friends.

The newlyweds released a joint statement, expressing gratitude towards fans for showering them with love. The statement read, “Raghav and I wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. We are bursting with gratitude for the outpour of love and warm wishes. While we may not have had the chance to respond to each and every message personally (life’s been a whirlwind, as you can imagine), please know that we’ve been reading EVERYTHING with joy in our hearts.”

It further read, “As we embark on this beautiful journey together, it means the world to us knowing that you’re all standing by our side. Your love and blessings are truly priceless, and we couldn’t have been more thankful.”

Parineeti Chopra was recently seen on the big screen in Mission Raniganj alongside Akshay Kumar. She will next be seen in Imtiaz Ali’s film Chamkila opposite Diljit Dosanjh.
