Palash Muchhal hints at wedding with cricketer Smriti Mandhana, calls her ‘daughter-in-law of Indore’

Palash Muchhal, who hails from Indore, remarked that Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana will soon be the “daughter-in-law of Indore.”

Music director Palash Muchhal has hinted at his wedding with Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana. During a recent event, Palash, who hails from Indore, marked that Smriti will soon be the “daughter-in-law of Indore.”

Palash was quoted by PTI as saying, “She will soon become the daughter-in-law of Indore… that’s all I want to say. I’ve given you the headline.” The music director, however, did not reveal further details such as the wedding date or venue.

Rumours about Palash and Smriti’s relationship have been circulating for quite some time. The couple often shares pictures with each other on social media, sparking speculation.

Smriti Mandhana is the vice-captain and opening batsman of the Indian women’s national cricket team. Coincidentally, Smriti played the ICC Women’s World Cup ODI match against England on Sunday in Indore. Extending his wishes to the Indian team, Palash Muchhal said, “My best wishes are with Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti (Mandhana). We always want the Indian cricket team to win every match and bring glory to the country.”

A few days ago, Palash shared a heartfelt birthday post for Smriti on Instagram, calling her his “biggest cheerleader.” He wrote, “From the very start, you’ve been my calm in the chaos, my biggest cheerleader, and the most inspiring soul I know — on the field and off it. You’ve shown me what grace under pressure looks like & what quiet strength truly is. Happiest Birthday Smritzzzzzzzzz ❤️🧿 @smriti_mandhana.”

Palash, along with his sister Palak Muchhal, has composed music for several films, including Bhoothnath Returns, Dishkiyaoon, and Amit Sahni Ki List, which featured hit tracks like “Party Toh Banti Hai,” “Tu Hi Hai Aashiqui,” and “What The Fark.” He has also tried his hand at acting, starring in Ashutosh Gowariker’s Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone.

He is currently working on his directorial venture Raju Bajewala, which stars Avika Gor and Chandan Roy in lead roles.
