Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's US-based sister Shweta Singh Kirti has shared a new post on his third death anniversary. Taking to Instagram, Shweta shared several pictures, including one that appears to be a screenshot of a text conversation with him in which he shared some of his favourite books. Shweta also posted images of those books, and of a mood board. The first picture in her post shows Sushant posing with his nephew and niece, followed by pictures of books about architecture and the human mind. "Love you Bhai, and salute to your intelligence. I miss you every moment. But I know you are a part of me now.. You have become as integral as my breath. Sharing a few nooks recommended by him. Let's live him by being him. #SushantIsAlive," she wrote in the caption of her post, which also included a picture of a mood board that mentions his interests. Subjects listed on this include robots, geometry, virtual reality, artificial intelligence and ancient structures. In a follow-up video, Shweta said that she doesn't like to talk about his 'death anniversaries' because it makes her 'sad'. "He hasn't left anywhere, he has just left his physical body. He is around and I can feel him completely," she said, urging his fans to 'imbibe his qualities'. Sushant died in 2020, months into the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. An investigation was launched by the Mumbai Police into the circumstances of his death, but the case was transferred to the CBI after public pressure, but no chargesheet has been filed yet. In the weeks following Sushant's death, his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was tried by the media, and also targeted by his family. They accused her of misappropriating his funds; she filed a countersuit against two of Sushant's sisters for abetting his suicide by allegedly procuring unprescribed medication for him. Sushant's death also initiated a public controversy about drug abuse in Bollywood, and a renewed debate on nepotism in the film industry. His final film was Dil Bechara, which was released for free on Disney+ Hotstar some weeks after his passing.
