Nadaaniyan trailer: Ibrahim Ali Khan reveals his acting chops for the first time ever in Netflix’s rom-com co-starring Khushi Kapoor
Netflix has just dropped the trailer for Nadaaniyan, starring Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor.

Netflix has just dropped the trailer for its new romantic drama film Nadaaniyan, starring Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor. The film is set in a college where both Arjun (Ibrahim Ali Khan) and Pia (Khushi Kapoor) are on completely different paths. While Pia is looking for her perfect partner, Arjun aims to be a perfect student. Their paths collide as both of them make a deal to portray a romantic facade in front of their peers, in exchange of money.
This understanding between the two soon creates challenges when their loved ones get involved, and real feelings start creeping in.
Nadaaniyan marks the acting debut of Ibrahim Ali Khan, while Khushi Kapoor already has two films under her belt, The Archies and Loveyapa. Both have a background in the Hindi film industry. Ibrahim is the son of actors Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, while Khushi Kapoor is the daughter of late actor Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor.

Directed by Shauna Gautam, the movie also stars Suniel Shetty, Mahima Chaudhry, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj. The plot of Nadaaniyan appears to share similarities with that of another Netflix romantic comedy, The Perfect Date, starring Noah Centineo. No comments about Nadaaniyan being a remake have been made by the director or the producer of the film.
It is no mystery that the remake trend has been on the rise, but in recent months, creators are distancing themselves from the remake tag. This could be attributed to the box office failure of remakes such as Jersey, Deva, Baby John, and even Loveyapa.

Ibrahim’s sister, Sara Ali Khan, is an actor as well. As is Khushi’s sister, Janhvi Kapoor. Both Sara and Janhvi have appeared in Netflix projects previously. While Sara recently starred in the film Murder Mubarak, Janhvi headlined Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. Nadaaniyan is set to release on March 7, 2025.
