Mallika Sherawat reveals Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar fought to get her attention during Welcome shoot: ‘Imagine how important I felt’

Actor Mallika Sherawat recently made her acting comeback, playing a key role in the Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri-starrer Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. As this marks her returns to silver screen after a long gap, the actor has been opening up about her journey and sharing some amazing memories working in cinema. In a recent interview with Ranveer Allahbadia, Mallika praised her Welcome co-stars Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar. She also revealed how the two superstars kept fighting to get her attention.

During the interview, when she was shown a photo from the sets of Welcome, Mallika Sherawat shared, “My two suitors, this picture explains my life. I had a blast shooting for Welcome, both Anil and Nana were fighting over me for real. They were trying to get my attention; imagine how important I felt! They are brilliant human beings, and have amazing energies as actors.”

When she was asked if they imagined the film would become iconic, Mallika candidly said, “We were shooting in Dubai, it was so hot that our makeup would keep melting, so no one was bothered thinking about the film’s fate, we all just wished to pack up soon and go back home.”

Mallika had also opened up about how she faced a certain hatred from the industry for her bold scenes in Murder. In another interview, she also spoke about Mahesh Bhatt and how the director made her feel very comfortable. Mallika also shared her experience of working with Jackie Chan in The Myth.
