(Photo: Dr Nene/YouTube) Actor Madhuri Dixit’s husband, Dr Sriram Nene, posted a new video on his YouTube channel, in which he taught his son Arin Nene a tasty recipe. According to Sriram, this recipe is high in protein and has a spicy flavor, which is sure to make Arin popular with his roommates. Arin is currently studying at the University of Southern California in the US. Both Madhuri and her husband share lifestyle and cooking-related videos on their respective social media channels. Recently, they got together to cook a Maharashtrian favourite – Misal Pav.
Sharing the video on Instagram, Shriram wrote, “Teaching your child to cook – quick, easy, tasty, healthy Besan ka Chilla.”Arin can be seen helping his dad make the popular dish, a pancake made from chickpea flour. He chops vegetables and helps Sriram prepare the batter. Arin also makes a smooth vegetable paste and ensures the batter is consistent.

After the dish was ready, Sriram called his younger son Ryan Nene to come taste Arin’s dish. He said, “Hey Ryan, hey buddy how you doing? You’re in for a treat, look what your brother made you.” Arin then explained Ryan that the dish is ‘basically a pancake.’ Ryan seemed to have loved the dish, which made Arin really happy.
Arin left for college in 2021 and opening up about the same, Madhuri had said, “I can’t believe that it is that time of the year, when my oldest son has finished his school and now he will start his college. And my baby is flying the nest as they say it. I just can’t believe how the years have gone, he is already 18. He will be on his own in a university and I am so concerned as every mother will be as to how he is going to lead an independent life.”
