Earlier we had reported that Chitrangda Singh would be starring in a film directed by Kushan Nandy. While we were aware that the film would be a thriller, now we hear that this untitled venture has finally got a name and it is 'Babumoshai Bandookbaaz'. Elaborating on the film, director Kushan says that this action thriller will be shot extensively in West Bengal, in areas like Purulia and Burdwan which is famous for red soil. He also mentioned that his film will have realistic characters and Chitrangda along with others will have elements of grey in the roles that they play. Adding further, Kushan revealed that Chitrangda will portray the role of a cobbler and she will also be undergoing intensive training to get the nuances right. Moreover, unlike her avatar in 'Desi Boyz' or 'Inkaar', the actress will go completely de-glam for the film. Kushan Nandy is really thrilled about Chitrangda doing the role because he believes that the actress has the perfect features of a Bengali woman. Moreover, he also stated that he is currently in search of yet another actor who will play a younger character in the film. 'Babumoshai Bandookbaaz' is produced by Kiran Shyam Shroff and Ashmith Kunder and it also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film is slated to go on floor this month.
