Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan box office collection Day 9: Salman Khan film crawls towards Rs 100 crore mark, earns over Rs 95 cr
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan box office collection Day 9: The Salman Khan family entertainer is moving at a snail's pace as it looks at crossing the Rs 100 crore mark in days to come.

Salman Khan’s big Eid release Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is trying its best to cross the Rs 100 crore mark. After earning Rs 90.15 crore in its first week, it minted Rs 2.35 crore on Friday, and closed its second Saturday collection at Rs 3.30 crore approx., reported industry tracker Sacnilk. This brings its total collection to Rs 95.80 crore. The gross worldwide collection of the film stands at Rs 153.17 cr.
As per the website, the Salman Khan starrer had a 12.02% occupancy in the Hindi market on Saturday, with most turning up for the night show. If the film manages to sustain its number on Sunday, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan will cross Rs 100 crore by the end of the week.
Despite not performing as a Bhai vehicle should, especially on a festive occasion (Its first-day figure was only Rs 15 crore), the Veeram remake still happens to be one of the few successful Hindi movies of 2023.
Apart from Salman, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan also features Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh Daggubati, Bhumika Chawla, Palak Tiwari, Siddharth Nigam, Raghav Juyal, Shehnaaz Gill among others. It’s directed by Farhad Samji.
While the film may have managed to stay afloat at the box office thanks to Salman’s star power, it did not impress critics. The Indian Express’ Shubhra Gupta called it ‘unimaginative’ and wrote in a section of her review, “This Bhaijaan is a tired, unimaginative amalgamation of every Bhaijaan version we’ve seen. Was that short but propulsive appearance in ‘Pathaan’ a mirage, or a perfectly-timed walk-on part inserted cleverly, and ironically, into the right spot? You do know the trouble with legends? They wane.”
