Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan box office collection Day 7: Salman Khan film witnesses further drop, first week business falls short of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan box office collection Day 7: The Salman Khan film is trailing behind Ranbir Kapoor-Shraddha Kapoor's Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar.

Salman Khan-starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was released at a time when there was no other Hindi film dominating the box office, and after completing a week in theatres, the film’s nett domestic collection now stands at Rs 90.15 crore. Independently, the figures aren’t underwhelming, but for a Salman Khan release on Eid, one would have expected better numbers.
On its seventh day in theatres, the film earned Rs 3.5 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. Directed by Farhan Samji, KKBKKJ has crossed the Rs 100 crore gross mark in the domestic market after a week. The worldwide gross collections stand at Rs 141 crore. With no other big Hindi film releasing this week, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has the opportunity to do more business.
Luv Ranjan’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, managed to earn Rs 92.84 crore at the end of its first week, which is slightly more than what the Salman Khan film has managed to collect. Pathaan, the other big budget film of 2023, ended its first week with Rs 378.15 crore on the box office, as per Bollywood Hungama.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan opened with Rs 15.81 crore and over the first weekend, the film managed to put up a decent total of Rs 68.17 crore. It seemed unlikely that Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan would dethrone Pathaan as the highest grossing Hindi film of the year but now, the film will have a difficult time matching TJMM’s lifetime domestic collection, which stands at Rs 148.13 crore.
Salman hasn’t had a success in theatres since 2019’s Dabangg 3, which earned Rs 146.11 crore. His next release of the year is YRF’s Tiger 3 and given the excitement that he generated with his cameo in Pathaan, that film is expected to make a stronger impact at the box office.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan also starred Pooja Hegde, Bhumika Chawla, Venkatesh Daggubati, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari, Siddharth Nigam, Raghav Juyal, Jassie Gill, Jagapathi Babu among others.
