Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian are on their first trip to India for the Ambani wedding.

Reality show star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian, who is one of the most recognisable celebrities in the world, has arrived in India for the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, which is scheduled to take place on Friday. This is Kim’s first trip to India. Kim is accompanied by her sister Khloe, who is also a reality show star and entrepreneur.

Kim and Khloe arrived in India on Thursday evening. As they made their way out of Mumbai airport’s private terminal, they were surrounded by fans and photographers. Kim and Khloe waved at them and made their way to a waiting car.

As they reached the hotel, eagle eyed fans were quick to notice that Kim and Khloe were surrounded by a production crew which carried lights and mics, which probably means that the Ambani wedding might be featured on the reality show The Kardashians, which streams in India on Hotstar.

Kim shared a few videos and images from the hotel on her Instagram stories. Kim was welcomed at the hotel with a tikka on her forehead, and a shawl. She also shared a picture of an elephant statue decorated with roses and a thali with some fragrant Indian spices.

Anant and Radhika have been hosting pre-wedding functions for a few months now. Earlier this year, the Ambanis organised three days of pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar where Rihanna, Akon and Diljit Dosanjh performed. That event was attended by Mark Zuckerberg, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, among others. They then hosted pre-wedding festivities in France and Italy on a cruise where Katy Perry, Backstreet Boys and Pitbull performed for the guests.

In the last few days, they have organised a sangeet, mehendi and many other function in Mumbai. After the wedding function on Friday, the Ambanis will be hosting an Aashirvad ceremony on Saturday, followed by a reception on Sunday.
