Kiara Advani expresses gratitude to fans for positive response to Satyaprem Ki Katha: ‘Feeling extremely emotional…’

Actor Kiara Advani‘s recently released film Satyaprem Ki Katha is receiving a positive response from the audience. The actor took to social media on Friday to thank everyone for their support.

Kiara plays the role of Katha in the film, someone who is already in a relationship when she meets Kartik Aaryan’s character Satyaprem.

On her Instagram story, Kiara Advani wrote, “Feeling extremely emotional reading all the reviews. Katha has been a very special character to me with a crucial message and today seeing you all give her so much love makes my heart so full.”

Recently, actor Sidharth Malhotra also took to social media to praise his wife Kiara Advani’s performance in Satyaprem Ki Katha. He wrote in his Instagram stories, “A love story with a relevant social message, filled with great performances from the entire cast but Katha you have my Heart. @kiaraaliaadvani so happy that you chose to play this character. Such an impactful and nuanced performance. Kudos to you and the entire team @kartikaaryan @nadiadwalagrandson #SatyaPremKiKatha.”

Satyaprem Ki Katha opened on Thursday to mixed reviews. In her review, Shubhra Gupta of The Indian Express wrote, “Somewhere under the overwrought and overcooked plot of Kartik Aaryan-Kiara Advani-starrer is a real film about two people dealing with troubled pasts, but it gets buried under everything else that the movie throws at us.”
