Khufiya trailer: Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, the film is based on a book Escape to Nowhere, written by the former chief of the Counter Espionage Unit of Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), Amar Bhushan.

There is a mole in the Research and Analysis Wing and Tabu is on a mission to find out who. Netflix on Monday dropped the trailer of its latest espionage thriller Khufiya. Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, the film also stars Ali Fazal and Wamiqa Gabbi.
The over two-minute-long trailer, which says the films if “based on true events”, follows R&AW trying to find out the traitor within, as Ali Fazal’s character draws suspicion of being a mole. But no mystery is as simple, with Tabu leading her team to nab the mole, with the suspicion constantly shifting from one character to the other.
Khufiya, set to release on October 5, is based on a book Escape to Nowhere, written by the former Chief of the Counter Espionage Unit of R&AW, Amar Bhushan. As the lens is fixed on Ali’s life with even his wife (Wamiqa Gabbi) wondering if he is a deshdrohi, the film ratchets up suspense.
