Katrina Kaif says she and Vicky Kaushal googled Vijay Sethupathi’s age; asks Merry Christmas co-star, ‘Should I call you sir?’

As the crowd started to make some noise on the question, Katrina Kaif further stated that she and Vicky Kaushal even googled Vijay Sethupathi’s age to see if they could decide the same. “We then went on google and we checked what his age was,” she said and Sethupathi immediately interrupted by announcing his age. “44,” he said. She continued, “We thought we’ll decide, umar ke hisab se (as per his age.) I don’t know, I’m confused.”

Vijay then took over and said, “Kuch bhi chalega (Anything will work). We actors generally call each other sir or brother, it’s mutual respect . You can call me Vijay, Hi Vijay, Hey Vijay. Kuch bhi chalega (Anything will work).”

Merry Christmas marks the first collaboration of Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the movie will release in Hindi and Tamil on January 12. Talking about casting Vijay and Katrina in the film, Sriram said in the same conversation, “I said this is a very interesting and oddball combination that will make people curious. And I myself was curious because with any regular pairing, I could sort of imagine the movie. Here, I didn’t know myself so that excitement was there.”
