Katrina Kaif says husband Vicky Kaushal interrupts her ’45-minute rants’ as he can’t understand her accented English: ‘He listens with so much sincerity’
Katrina Kaif opened up about her secret to staying calm and composed on most of the occasions -- she rants in front of husband Vicky Kaushal, who listens with a lot of sincerity.

Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Merry Christmas opposite Vijay Sethupathi. While fans are thrilled about this new pairing, Katrina, Vijay, and filmmaker Sriram Raghavan sat down to answer a few fan questions. Katrina was asked about her ‘calm and composed’ demeanour and how she stays calm most of the time. The Tiger actor immediately credited her husband-actor Vicky Kaus0hal for her calm nature and also explained the reason behind it.
In a chat with Pinkvilla, Katrina was asked by a fan, “How do you maintain your demeanor and calmness every time?” The actor replied, “You just need to ask this question to Vicky. So I go home, and I will speak for 45 minutes if I’m worked up about something in an incredible rant. And sometimes, beech beech mai, he might say, ‘I didn’t understand there because you’re speaking so fast, and your English is a little accented.’ I’ll express everything, and he hears with so much sincerity and so much acceptance that you feel like the burden is off your chest. Then we forget about it, and that’s how I can come here and be calm.”

Katrina Kaif also revealed her mantra to staying calm before she met Vicky Kaushal. She said, “I think I’ve always kept this one line which has helped me a lot in my life, which is, um, I read it somewhere, and it was a line that said, ‘Observe what you feel and do what you must.’ So a lot of times in life, it will not go exactly as we wished for, or something will happen which will really rile us up and make us upset. That’s what I’ve tried to do is understand that this has happened, but I continue to do what I must, which is being calm and composed.”
Merry Christmas is all set to hit the theatres on January 12.
