Katrina Kaif fights with ‘fire’ in new Tiger 3 poster; calls it her ‘most challenging film yet’

The third film in the Tiger franchise, Tiger 3, is among the most-awaited films of the year. Keeping up with the anticipation around the Salman Khan-led film among the fans of the franchise, the makers have released Katrina Kaif’s character posters while also announcing the trailer release date.

The poster has Katrina looking sharp as a spy agent. She is seen hanging from a rope and firing from a gun while holding that intense expression. She looks chic in black leather pants and jacket with her hair tied in a ponytail. The actor shared her solo poster on social media and captioned it, “Fighting fire with fire, that’s Zoya…..”

Sharing the poster on social media, her co-actor Salman wrote, “Zoya (fire-eyed emoji) #Tiger3Trailer arriving on 16th October. #Tiger3 in cinemas this Diwali. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.” Filmmakers Karan Johar and Zoya Akhtar expressed their admiration for the poster.

While unveiling her character poster, Katrina said that Tiger 3 has been her “most challenging film physically”. She said, “It has been an incredible journey playing Zoya in the YRF Spy Universe and I have put myself to the test in every film. Tiger 3 is no exception. We wanted to take the action sequences to the next level this time and I have pushed my body to breaking point for the film and people will see that. Physically this has been my most challenging film yet.”

Describing her character of Zoya, a Pakistani spy agent, the actor added, “I’m very proud to have a character like her. She is fierce, she is courageous, she is all heart, she is loyal, she is protective, she is nurturing and above all she stands up for humanity, every single time. Strong , gutsy, badass and no holds barred. She is the yin to the yang of Tiger.”

Helmed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 is scheduled to arrive in the cinema halls on Diwali this year. The film takes forward the events of YRF’s other spy thrillers, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, and Pathaan. It also stars Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist.
