Kartik Aaryan reveals haunting experience he encountered while filming Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3: ‘Achanak se kisi ne mujhe peeche se…’

“Ek badi haveli thi, andhera tha, pura atmosphere hi darawna sa tha. Hamara shot lene se pehle hi, main to kissi se baat hi kar raha tha, ki achanak se kisi ne mujhe peeche se scratch kar diya! Triptii ko to laga ki main koi improvise ya acting kar raha tha shot ke pehle par tab maine bola ki, ‘Nahi yaar mujhe sach main kuch scratch kiya hain.’ Par hamare peeche koi tha bhi nahi tha… (It was a big mansion, it was dark, and the whole atmosphere was scary. Before taking our shot, I was talking to someone, when suddenly someone scratched me from the back! Triptii thought I was improvising or acting; but before the shot, I said, ‘ Someone had actually scratched me.’ But in reality, no one was there behind us…)

Further, director Anees Bazmee also shared an incident where he often felt a cat was strangling him while he was working on a psychological film about cats. He added that the thing became so serious that his mother advised him not to sleep alone in a room and also asked a man to sleep with him. The director shared how that man ran away the night Bazmee slipped into an incident.

“One day, I began to strangle myself and started making strange noises. He ran away, and he began to shout, and soon a crowd gathered. They arrived on time. After that incident, I stopped working on that movie. So I believe it was a psychological effect,” concluded the director. Kartik Aaryan’s film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is now running in theatres and performing well, as per box office figures.
