Kareena Kapoor says she is not a good cook but husband Saif Ali Khan cooks: ‘He is really good’

However, the actor revealed that Saif trusts her when it comes to feeding their children Jeh and Taimur. “It’s quite clear. He knows that I am right. Even if we are arguing, he will eventually be like ‘ok, no you are right'”.

Kareena and Saif welcomed their first child, son Taimur in 2016 and their younger son Jeh in 2021. Both the children are often seen with their nannies when the family steps out and Kareena feels it is important to have help and there is no shame in it.

Talking about having the support of husband for a career-oriented woman, Kareena said, “The whole family and the husband has to be supportive and you have to be on the same page. You need to have good help. Even though we rarely talk about it, but the fact is that if your parents are older, you don’t have your sister or brother somebody looking after personally, then you have to have help. You have to seek help and there is nothing wrong with it. I am lucky to have that privilege and I like to use that to my advantage because I am a working mom.”

Kareena recently finished shooting for Hansal Mehta’s film in London and will soon get on sets to shoot for Rhea Kapoor’s The Crew. Saif, too has returned from shooting a film in Amritsar and the couple is currently enjoying a family holiday in South Africa.

When it comes to planning for holidays, Kareena said that she and Saif are always on the same page and he leaves the planning of the vacation to her.

“Saif’s timings are like …I don’t know!” says Kareena in jest and adds, “He leaves the planning to me. He always calls me the best planner. He just leaves everything to me because I think we have similar taste, we always want to go to the same place. He knows that ‘she will always choose the right place’ and we will always be on the same page. If we are planning a new destination, then we always ask each other.”
