Filmmaker Karan Johar’s fashion choices are anything but dull. Much like his films, his wardrobe is also full of bling and colours. However, he surprised everyone lately with his latest photoshoot where he ditched the bling and wore a classy, black suit. He said he is doing it for his mother Hiroo Johar.

Karan wore a white shirt and an oversized black suit with wide-legged trousers. He added a black-and-white striped tie to complete the look. However, his caption didn’t miss out on the entertainment at all.

Karan wrote in the caption, “Ma kehti hai “Umar ho gayee hai… dhang ke kapde pehno…. Mom aapke liye yeh seedha sada suit…. ( par dil phir bhi kehta hai … yeh bright rang kab mujhse chodega ) styled by a sedate @ekalakhani in a classic @goyalkanika. shot by a surprised @sheldon.santos (Mom says wear age-appropriate clothes so mom, this suit is just for you but my heart says I like bright colours).”

The film is special for the filmmaker as it marks his 25 years in the film industry and at the same time brings him back to the director’s chair after seven years. Karan’s last feature film directorial was Ae Dil Hai Mushkil starring Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor, Fawad Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

After this, Karan is expected to begin his work on his debut action film. The filmmaker had announced that his banner, which is known for producing family dramas and love stories, will step into the genre of action for the first time. The details of the project are still under wraps.
