Karan Johar and Nikhil Advani were said to have had fallout but the filmmakers have decided to let bygones be bygones. In fact, Karan has taken a step further and gifted a Punjabi song to Nikhil Advani for his upcoming film ‘Hero’.

From what we hear, Nikhil Advani was in search of a special song for his film, which is a remake of the 1983 Jackie Shroff, Meenakshi Sheshadri starrer by the same name. On the other hand, Karan Johar had asked the lyricist Kumaar to compose a few songs for his upcoming film and Kumaar had already given 10 songs for his film. Despite the Punjabi track being one of his favourites, Karan decided to give it away to Nikhil owing to the rapport they shared. The song in question will be sung by Shipra Goyal and Dev Negi.

Produced by Salman Khan in association with Eros International, ‘Hero’ marks the debut of Sooraj Pancholi (son of Aditya Pancholi) and Athiya Shetty (daughter of Suniel Shetty). The film is slated to release on July 3, 2015.
