Tamil director P Vasu’s latest offering Chandramukhi 2 is creating a positive buzz on social media. The film, starring Kangana Ranaut and Raghava Lawrence in the lead, is a mix of horror and drama and seems to have struck a chord with the audience.

Several Twitter users took to the micro-blogging site and praised the film. While some reported that the film had a massive opening in parts of Tamil Nadu, others said that the movie has “no dull moments.”

In an earlier interaction, Kangana shared how she was excited to return to Tamil cinema for her third outing. She said, “This is my third film in Tamil after Dham Dhoom and Thalaivii. I am happy all three have been good. Especially, Chandramukhi 2 because I haven’t done such a colourful film with elements like drama, fights, and songs. It is also a high point in my career to work with Raghava Lawrence sir, who made me so comfortable on the sets.”

The film is a sequel of the 2005 film Chandramukhi, which starred Jyothika and Rajinikanth. In this film Kangana plays the role of a classical dancer in king’s court.
