Kalki 2898 AD new teaser shows chemistry between Prabhas and his AI-powered car Bujji. Watch
Directed by Nag Ashwin and also starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan, Kalki 2898 AD will be released on June 27.

It is a post-apocalyptic world, but Prabhas seems to be in love… with his futuristic car. The makers of Kalki 2898 AD dropped a new teaser of the film, which showcases the chemistry between its lead star and his trusted associate, Bujji. The minute-long teaser gives a glimpse of the banter between Prabhas and his sarcastic, AI-powered car at the battlefield.
The teaser begins with Bujji informing Prabhas’ Bhairava that the mission he is about to undertake is not only difficult but also impossible. “Negative,” the car informs him at the start of the teaser, as it goes on to list all the challenges stacked up against them, as Prabhas gets annoyed with Bujji’s pessimism.
“Just one day, today, just be positive,” Prabhas tells Bujji, who promptly replies, “No, let’s go back.” The teaser then cuts to action visuals of the post-apocalyptic world as Prabhas cruises with (or in) Bujji on the battlefield. “Love you Bujji,” Prabhas says in the end, only to be told by the car, “It’s ok.” The banter between the two is reminiscent of Tony Stark and JARVIS, Iron Man’s witty sidekick.

Recently, the makers had shared a video of the making of Kalki 2898 AD, where they spoke about mounting Bujji–the ‘most complicated’ vehicle. The video the car’s manufacturing process, where one of the brains behind Bujji said, “It already looks very complicated. It is going to be very challenging to make it.”
Director Nag Ashwin had also explained how Bujji’s body is controlled by a brain, just like that of a human body. Later, Bujji was seen making fun of how the film’s delayed release by saying, “Nobody is following the deadline.”
Kalki 2898 AD will be released on June 27. The film features megastar Amitabh Bachchan as the immortal Ashwatthama and also stars Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani in pivotal roles.
This will be Prabhas’ second film in six months after last year’s Christmas release, Salaar.
