While Shah Rukh Khan may be winning all the accolades for Jawan, his co-stars, regardless of the length of their roles, have also been appreciated. Be it ‘SRK’s girls’ or Kaveri Maa (Ridhi Dogra), the women are basking in the glory of Jawan’s success. Bhutan’s Sangay Tsheltrim is also overwhelmed by the love his character received in the film. He plays a police officer, who took on Shah Rukh’s Azad in the opening metro scene. Later, he also reunited the father-son pair after realising Vikram Rathore’s truth.

In a recent interview, Sangay thanked Salman Khan for giving him a break in Radhe. He also shared that it was because of the film that he’s today talking about the success of Jawan. He told Connect FM Canada, “Well, that experience is most memorable because that’s where I was born in Bollywood. Thanks to Salman sir and his kindness that he gave me such an important role, because of which I’m here right now standing in front of you talking about Jawan. So that experience will be the most memorable experience. And I would like to thank Salman sir from the bottom of my heart. I’ll never forget his gesture and his kindness towards me.”

Sangay Tsheltrim also opened up about attending the screening of Jawan with the cast and crew. He also revealed how SRK thanked him for being a part of the film. The actor shared that he flew down from Bhutan for a day to attend the premiere and met Shah Rukh and the entire team.

“Well, as usual, he hugged me and said ‘Thank you for being part of Jawan.’ That’s what he tells everybody and he really means it because I guess we are right now here because of Shah Rukh sir. Actually, it’s his one-man show. But then at the same time, the contribution that we all made with the character we portrayed, I think it is teamwork at the end and Atlee sir with his vision. There are so many social messages in the movie, you know, Atlee sir with his vision and his brain has used Shah Rukh sir in the best way and right now is creating a record for that reason.”

Atlee credits Shah Rukh Khan for Jawan success

Jawan director Atlee was recently felicitated during a special screening of the film for the Indian Army, the Mumbai Police, and the Traffic Police. He also signed a golden ticket as a gesture of appreciation.

At the event, Atlee praised Shah Rukh. He said, “It is very overwhelming and it is God’s blessing. God is so kind to us, and I think we have done our part as filmmakers to entertain the audience. I think it is entertaining on the theatre screen, and people are really happy about it, and they are showering their love. Mainly, it’s all because of Mr Shah Rukh sir, and thanks to Mr Shah Rukh sir, Red Chillies, and the entire core team who have worked with us day and night for the last three and a half years.”’

Atlee said their aim was to entertain the audience and appreciated the support they’ve received. He mentioned they would continue to work hard and deliver something great with their next film. The director said, “The love you have given to us is going to keep us pumping up more, and we’re going to come up with something great with the next film.”
