Janhvi Kapoor confesses she takes pillows from hotels, recalls her shoplifting experience: ‘My parents said you thief’

In the same interview, Janhvi also talked about her experience with shoplifting. She said when she was young, she went out with her parents Sridevi and Boney Kapoor to a kids store and got something for herself without paying. She said. “I was a kid, I think I was in a Disney store, there was like a candy or something. I really didn’t understand the concept of money. I picked up something and ran out and I met papa and mumma and said, ‘I got this and we didn’t have to pay for it’, they were like ‘You thief’.”

Janhvi Kapoor’s Mr and Mrs Mahi, directed by Sharan Sharma, has earned Rs 20.85 crore in 5 days. The film opened to Rs 6.75 crore, which is reportedly the highest opening film of the actress as most of her films have released on OTT platforms.

Janhvi will be soon seen in Sudhanshu Saria’s Ulajh, also starring Meiyang Chang, Roshan Mathew, Gulshan Devaiah, and Rajendra Gupta, among others. The film will show the journey of a young IFS officer. The film is set to hit the big screen on July 5. Janhvi will also be seen playing the lead role in Jr NTR starrer Devara, marking Janhvi’s Telugu debut. Devara will release on October 10.
