You don’t mess with Jackie Shroff, even if he is in a jail. On Saturday, the makers of the Varun Dhawan-starrer Baby John dropped a new video teasing the film’s antagonist Babbar Sher, played with menacing flamboyance by Jackie Shroff in a never seen before rugged, grey long hair look. Baby John is Varun Dhawan’s first big commercial outing in years.

The teaser begins with Babbar Sher in a jail, walking around as other inmates cheer for him. He stands in front of a mirror and smashes it to pieces with a punch, as his face is revealed. What follows are shots of action sequences, where he gives a fiery punch to a fellow inmate, smokes two ‘beedis’ and slashes a man’s skull with an axe.

Babbar Sher is wearing vintage rings and chains around his neck, and he seems to be a worthy adversary for Varun’s Baby John in the film, which is billed as a high-octane actioner.
