Actor couple Ishita Dutta and Vatsal Sheth have announced they’re expecting their first child together. Ishita showed off her baby bump in photos from a shoot that the couple shared on their Instagram handles.

Both the actors were seen in coordinated outfits against a picturesque backdrop on the beach. They wrote in the caption, “Baby on Board.” The couple was seen embracing the special occasion and in one of the pictures, Vatsal gave Ishita’s baby bump a kiss.

Talking about their pregnancy, Ishita said in an interview with TOI that she had planned something big to share the good news with Vatsal. However, the actor said that she could not wait and hence she told Vatsal immediately.

Vatsal added, “We have been married for five years, but we hadn’t made a conscious decision to have children only after we are settled in our careers. Just like marriage is a milestone, having a child is another milestone. Work keeps happening and you continue to work hard, but welcoming our baby will definitely be the beginning of a beautiful new chapter in our lives.”

Ishita also opened up about working during pregnancy and said, “As long as the makers are okay with my pregnancy, I will continue to shoot. I want to continue working post pregnancy, too. Of course, when the baby arrives, a lot of things will change and life will take a new direction, but I would like to start working once we settle down after a few months.”
